Meet Dr. Jonathan Bolon

Dr. Jonathan Bolon is a Specialist Physician and Consultant Gastroenterologist. He completed his medical training at the University of the Witwatersrand and gained extensive experience at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital.
After qualifying as a Specialist Physician, he pursued sub-specialist training in Medical Gastroenterology, earning his Certificate in Gastroenterology. Dr. Bolon gained further expertise as a Senior Clinical Fellow at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
His practice focuses on gastrointestinal and liver diseases, with a particular interest in inflammatory bowel disease and iron deficiency anaemia due to obscure gastrointestinal bleeding. He is skilled in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, particularly the management of complex multidisciplinary medical patients.
